This one day workshop is designed for Engineers, Technologists, Inspectors, Purchasers and other professionals who require a working knowledge of B 149.3 field approval code. Participants will be provided tools for the practical application of the Code based on individual jurisdictional requirements. Training includes identification of various differences in jurisdictional interpretation and approval. Real Case Studies are used in Exercises.
Participants will receive a Course Completion Certificate and CEU credits.
Doors open at 8:00 am and a continental breakfast is offered. Workshop runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and includes 2 coffee breaks. Lunch is provided. The workshop agenda is as follows:

In order to provide compliant materials, components and equipment, it is critical that designers, manufacturers and owners understand the specific jurisdictional requirements. This course content is designed to familiarize staff with the fundamental requirements when designing, fabricating or accepting any product that does not bear traceable certification for all applicable technical features that are legislated in the Canadian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries.
